Why We're Proud to Serve the
Merrimack Police
Department.

Some locations are business decisions. Some are personal. The MPD install was both — and it means something to us that goes beyond vending.

We've installed machines in gyms, corporate offices, and recreation centers. Every location matters to us — that's not something we say lightly. But every now and then a location comes along that hits differently. The Merrimack Police Department was one of those.

When the opportunity came up to put a machine at the MPD, we didn't treat it like a sales call. We treated it like an honor.

Sam and I both served. Taking care of people who serve — that's not a business decision. That's just the right thing to do.

How It Came Together

The conversation started simply enough — the department needed a better option for officers and staff who work long shifts and don't always have time to run out for food or drinks. We walked through the space, talked about what would actually be useful, and got to work building a planogram that fit the people using it.

We leaned heavy on protein. Officers on shift need fuel, not candy. Uncrustables came up in the conversation with staff — they wanted them, so we priced them in and made room. That's the kind of detail you get when you actually listen to the people who are going to be using the machine every day.

What It Means to Us

Merrimack is home. The MPD protects this town — the same town where we live, where our kids go to school, where we built this business. Walking into that building and putting something in there that makes their days a little easier is genuinely one of the things we're most proud of in this operation.

It's also a reminder of why we started Freedom Vending the way we did — not chasing the biggest contracts or the highest-volume locations, but building real relationships in places that mean something. You can't put a dollar value on what it feels like to stock a machine at a police department in your hometown and know that a night shift officer is going to grab a drink from it at 2am.

We're grateful they said yes. We'll take care of that machine like it's our most important one — because in a lot of ways, it is.
